Goodbye!

Ciao ragazzi!
Baci.

Hello guys!
Sorry for my absence yesterday but I had no inspiration, and as usual I thought it was better not to publish anything, rather than creating a pointless post. :) Even today I don't want to talk about summer fashion trends, but simply greeting: I will deliver tomorrow morning, and I won't be back for a week. Of course I go to sea with my three friends, and this afternoon I'm very very busy. The first? Surely the suitcase! My motto for this year is "TAKE THE NECESSAY". I hope so, but knowing myself I have my doubts. Now I greet you again, see you in a week!
Kisses.

Polls.

Ciao a tutti!
Buona serata.

Hello everybody!
The deadline for voting in the poll has expired, and I will publish now the results. First, for the uninitiated, I state that the "clash" was between bikini and trikini: 100% of the votes go to the bikini. Do you agree? I will, I think trikini is very beautiful "to see", but quite difficult to wear!
Enter now a new survey of August: If you had the opportunity to ask for a gift, what would you choose? In the sidebar of the blog there are proposals, I urge vote!
Good evening.

Kaftan.

Buonasera cari!
Finalmente l’ho trovato!
Buona serata!

Good evening, dear!
Finally I found it! Today I bought the piece for me best of all that summer has long sought: the kaftan! Ok, for you can be a piece as another, perhaps even can not like, but I had absolutely need. And, after having searched everywhere, today I found it, and it is great! Fairly short, a v neckline, short sleeves and wide enough, with stones on the neckline, of course white. It’s so cool, so comfortable, so summer! I love it, I would wear it all day! For those of you who do not know, the kaftan has Persian origins: it was used for important ceremonies such as marriage, but today is a major summer trends. I believe that is a piece truly versatile: it can be used on the beach but also in the city, and well both leaner and to those among us who need to hide some defects. The kaftan has also many variants: there are transparent or the most heavy, plain or printed, long to the foot (and here return to the long dress) or very short, long or short sleeves, neckline and not .. well, there is one for everyone ! The mine is not transparent, I will wear it to go down to the beach (among other things, Saturday delivery!) but also to exit, perhaps with the denim shorts or why not, if it will be cooler, with leggings. I consider him a piece that can not miss in our summer wardrobe!
I leave you with some suggestions of designers in their collections for spring / summer 2010.
Good evening!

Those lovely days..

Buonasera ragazzi,
MartaL.

Good evening guys,
today I propose something different from the usual fashion post, talking about MYSELF (ok, today I’m totally self-centered). Yesterday was one of those quiet and special days: in the afternoon I was at the home of a friend of mine and we saw the DVD of “Angels & Demons” based on the book by Dan Brown. I did not know the story, but honestly I must say that I expected something more: the ending (of course not I tell you) left me puzzled and unsatisfied. In the evening I went out to dinner with * him * and it was wonderful. He, in his wonderful new Ralph Lauren T-shirt, and I, with straight hair after more than a month of curls, wore for the first time a dress taken in week by Zuiki. It is black, strapless and gathered at the bottom, average length: I have closed with very short dresses: they are uncomfortable and seem unsuitable for any occasion. With this fantastic dress I matched my silver sandals with heels and clutch of the same color. As soon as I got in the car his eyes made me realize that I did exactly the center. I love to be beautiful for him! After pizza we went to a place where there was a graduation party for two of our friends: almost half of the large terrace was reserved for us, and we also had a special bar! It was great: we talked a lot, and probably drank a bit too much (yes, I drank so much) but was not a problem, it’s summer and I want to play? I went home totally destroyed but fulfilled.
How have you passed on Saturday night?

Panama.

Buongiorno ragazzi!
Opinioni, grazie! :)
Buona giornata.
MartaL.

TRANSLATION:
Hello guys!
To begin this hot weekend of summer I want to speak of another summer trend: the panama!
Born around 1825 in Ecuador in the province of Manabi, and named after the homonymous city that has been the main point of trade of it.
The panama is a type of hat, hand-made with fiber of a dwarf palm called Carludovica palmata: they are left in a cave for a long time in order to maintain the humidity up to what the hat is not created.
The various forms of Panama are: wide-brimmed, soft or upturned, round heads with depression in the central and lateral bruises adorned with colored tape (but usually black), often patterned. The weavers are now very few, and technically they know everything about working with straw, its seasoning and rest periods.
The “original” panama is of white straw, but now they are a bit of all colors: the classic straw “yellow” or not perfectly white, the tape is embellished sometimes with bows or other ornaments to create a versatile hat and suit all tastes and occasions.
Once this hat was synonymous with elegance and refinement, today we see a bit everywhere: I think it’s an essential piece in the closet of each of us. I almost always wear it in the sea days, combining it usually the stock (strictly straw), but they are not rare the times when I use it to exit the city. In some cases it helps me make the outfit more simple at first glance particular, combining it with a simple denim shorts and a colored vest, and others get the opposite effect, namely to make it less “heavy” a rather unusual combination. As I said, Panama is definitely a must-have for the summer season, and not only speak of summer 2010. I consider it an evergreen. Opinions, thanks! :)
Have a nice day.

Audrey Hepburn

Buonasera gente,
